Core group
The chair, vice-chair, theme co-ordinators and secretariat form a core group, each with a specific responsibility and together supervising the proceedings, assessing new members and preparing the next meeting. The core group is at the moment composed of: Arie van de Brand, Franco Sotte, Martá Stauder, Dacian Ciolos and Bart Soldaat.
Active members
are actively involved in assisting in developing proposals for one of the selected themes and take part in the internal meetings.
Active members should show real commitment and be prepared to spend time on the ctivities of the Groupe de Bruges other than attending meetings.
Associated members
can be former members and people who support the objectives of the Group de Bruges. They want to be kept informed, have the possibility to express there views and ideas, can be invited for meetings, but who are not active members in decision making regarding developing the agenda, developing proposals, etc.
Supporter and networks
all the other individuals, institutions, organisations and networks that are interested in or have an interest in the debate on European Agricultural and Rural Development policy, but who will not or cannot participate actively in the ‘internal’ debate. They could be either invited to debates, workshops, conferences etc. or with whom the Groupe de Bruges could develop activities together.
Secretariat
Ideally we strive for secretariats in the North-West, the South and the East of Europe. The secretariat prepares the meetings logistically, keeps the financial accounts, maintains the members’ database and the Groupe de Bruges’ website. The main secretariat is at the moment located in the Netherlands. See also the 'contact' page
