Last meeting
Following the international conference "The future of agriculture and rural areas in an enlarging Europe: dealing with diversity", the members of the Groupe de Bruges held their latest internal meeting on October 17, also in Tirana.
It was among others decided to formalize the membership and to install an annual membership fee.

GdB workshops on CAP post 2013
The debate on the CAP post 2013 will come into full force in 2010, as the new European Commission will commence its mandate. A large number of stakeholders are already warming up and taking positions. The Groupe de Bruges wants to provide independent input for the debate and also offer a ‘neutral’ platform for discussions. We will start off with two workshops. The first one will be held on May 16 in Ancona, Italy, the second one will take place on May 7 in Chania on the isle of Crete, Greece. More news will follow shortly.
